icon Cheer Classes

INTRO TO CHEER: This class is geared towards our non-competitive athletes, ages 3 and up. For those who are ready to learn cheer techniques in a fun-filled environment then CHEER SKILLS is the class for these athletes. This class will focus on the fundamentals through the more advanced basic skills of cheerleading, utilizing drills, exercises and games to help your cheerleader improve in the areas of motion technique, jumps, cheer dance, stunt technique and basic tumbling.

50/50 COMBO CHEER SKILLS/TUMBLING: This class is geared towards our non-competitive athletes, ages 7 and up. For those who are ready to learn cheer techniques. This class will focus on the fundamentals through the more advanced basic skills of cheerleading, utilizing drills, exercises and games to help your cheerleader improve in the areas of motion technique, jumps, cheer dance, stunt technique and basic tumbling.

HIGH SCHOOL TRYOUT PREP CLASS: This class is offered to those who are preparing for their school's cheer tryouts.  This is the perfect class to polish your skills and get the edge for possible placement on your school's squad!  This class will focus on each participants individual needs and school tryout requirements.  From jumps and motion technique to tumbling entrance and exits to polishing your tryout material and stunting.

BEGINNER TUMBLING:  Must have mastered the forward roll, backward roll, cartwheel, round off and back bend kick-over. Will begin learning and mastering the standing back handspring and running back handspring, as well as handspring series. Once these skills have been mastered students will be promoted to the Intermediate Tumbling Class.

INTERMEDIATE TUMBLING: Must have mastered all back handsprings and standing back handsprings without a spot. Will begin learning and mastering the back tuck, round off back tuck and front punches. Once these skills are mastered students will be promoted to the Advanced Tumbling Class.

ADVANCED TUMBLING:  Will begin learning and mastering layouts, full’s and specialty passes. Must have mastered all skills in Beginner and Intermediate Tumbling before moving to the Advanced Tumbling Class.

Tumbling Classes

All classes are by skill level, age groups are separated in class if necessary.

INTRO TUMBLING: For athletes who have little or no tumbling experience. This class will focus on flexibility, balance and coordination. Athletes will learn the fundamentals of tumbling to include the forward roll, backward roll, cartwheel, round-off and back bend kick-over. Once these skills are mastered students will be promoted to the Beginner Tumbling Class.
BEGINNER TUMBLING:  Must have mastered the forward roll, backward roll, cartwheel, round off and back bend kick-over. Will begin learning and mastering the standing back handspring and running back handspring, as well as handspring series. Once these skills have been mastered students will be promoted to the Intermediate Tumbling Class.

Skills Classes

FLIGHT SCHOOL: This class is offered to anyone wanting to learn or strengthen their skills as a flyer or group stun teams wishing to work on stunt technique, dismount variations, and basket tosses.  Individual flyers stunt with ATC Cheer Staff.  Staff will provide spotting and technical instructions.  

HIGH SCHOOL TRYOUT PREP CLASS: This class is offered to those who are preparing for their school's cheer tryouts.  This is the perfect class to polish your skills and get the edge for possible placement on your school's squad!  This class will focus on each participants individual needs and school tryout requirements.  From jumps and motion technique to tumbling entrance and exits to polishing your tryout material and stunting.  Available from February - April

icon Enrollment Information

CLASS SIZE: All ATC classes, have a minimum class size of 3 and a maximum class size of 8.

TRIAL CLASS: One-time trial classes for new students are scheduled on a non-obligation basis. After the trial, if you decide not to enroll, there is $10 charge for trial classes. If you decide to enroll, payment will be applied toward your first months tuition.

MAKEUP/PRO-RATED CLASS: ATC does not offer pro-rated tuition or makeup classes for missed or holiday closings.  Some months you may receive 5 classes and other months you may only have 3.  Since we do not charge additional fees when there are more classes per month, we do not pro-rate for months when there are less.  See the calendar for gym closings due to holidays.  We follow the RRISD holiday calendar.

OBSERVATION: Classes in our main gym can be observed from our parent viewing area upstairs. NO parents are allowed in the gym area.

CLOTHING: Athletes should wear loose, comfortable clothing – tennis shoes (no bare feet ever).

WATER: Athletes should bring water or money to purchase a water bottle in the lobby. ATC does not have a water fountain.

WITHDRAWAL: To withdraw from a class, a DROP request must be received by e-mail.  A 30 day notice in writing is required.

PRIVATES: A private is a one-on-one session with a member of our coaching staff.

TRIAL CLASSES  

All potential students can attend a trial class for $10 before committing to a class.  First you will need to "CREATE ACCOUNT" or "LOGIN" if you have already created an account.  "Choose Find A Class" and click on the ENROLL button for the class you would like to attend as a trial.  You will see a drop down box for "Enrollment Type" change this box from "Active" to "Trial" and click the Verify Enrollment button at the bottom of the screen.  You are now enrolled in a trial class for the class you have chosen.  Your trial class is schedule for the next class meeting (ie. if the class meets on Tuesday at 5 and you enrolled on Monday, you attend tommorrow, or if you enrolled on Wednesday you will attend the following Tuesday).


WHAT TO WEAR   For all classes at ATC, athletes should wear comfortable shorts and t-shirt, socks and athletic tennis shoes, hair pulled up in pony tail and NO JEWELRY!     
WHAT TO BRING  

A water bottle or 30 cents for a water bottle.  

DROP/CANCEL A CLASS   A 30 day notice is required to drop a class.  To drop a class, you must submit a drop class by logging into your account.  During the 30 days you are obligated to pay for all fees that are charged.  For example you submit a drop request on the 15th of the month, tuition is charged on the 1st, so you are responsible for the tuition that is charged on the 1st.

MAKEUP CLASSES
 

ATC does not pro-rate class tuition/fees. 

ATC does not offer makeup classes for classes missed or cancelled.   
Some months you may have 5 classes and other months you may have only 3.  Since we do not charge additional fees for months when there are more classes we do not pro-rate for months when there are less.  Thank You for your understanding.


REFUNDS   ATC does not give refunds.  Please make sure your child is committed to attending the class you are signing them up for. 
**All fees are subject to change.  All classes, days and times are subject to change or be cancelled at the descretion of All That Cheer.  In the event of a class schedule change or cancellation, ATC will do our best to find another class time or class that will fit your schedule.

icon REFUNDS

ATC does not give refunds.  Please make sure your child is committed to attending the class you are signing them up for.   For your monthly fee it includes 4 classes a month.  If ATC has to cancel any of the monthly 4 classes you are eligible to schedule a makeup class.
